Fred grew up in Monmouthshire, South Wales where he fell in love with music from the age of 8 when he first picked up a guitar. He only began his professional career as a guitarist, bassist, producer and sound engineer when he moved to Cardiff in the autumn of 2022. In 2025, he achieved his Bmus Music Performance and Production, First Class at the University of West London (held at a Cardiff subsidiary) after which he moved back to his hometown. 

 

Now back in Monmouthshire, Fred has continued to build a textured portfolio of work ranging from tight jazz pieces, pop rock anthems, artistic indie works, psychedelic productions and ambient musical landscapes (including his own solo work).

Having already worked closely with some of the greatest emerging artists Wales has to offer and being around masters of sound engineering and production, Fred is poised to climb the ladder of music production in exciting fashion.
